Measurement Framework

The Innovation Center for U.S. Dairy is facilitating a process to gather stakeholder perspectives from across the value chain and beyond, with the goal to create a common vocabulary and identify common sustainability metrics that are most relevant to the dairy industry.

Our vision is to develop a common measurement framework for U.S. dairy that has a practical use — one that helps support individual organizations to measure, improve and report progress.

Sustainability Framework Development

The first draft of the framework will be available for public review in 2012, followed by a two-year piloting phase.
