Dr. Elizabeth Zmuda is a pediatrician and associate residency program director at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She received her medical degree from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency at Nationwide Children’s.

Dr. Zmuda serves as the chair of the Ohio Home and School Health Committee, is a member of the Ohio Action for Healthy Kids Steering Committee, and works with multiple schools and organizations regarding the social determinants of health. She is passionate about nutrition, physical activity and strong emotional skills as critical components in academic performance and overall well-being in school-aged children.

The mother of four loves her job and believes that her children make her a better pediatrician and that her experiences at work make her a better mom.
