Megan Maisano is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with experience in nutrition communications and marketing, science translation and health promotion. At National Dairy Council, Megan provides regulatory oversight to drive the science-to-storytelling process, ensuring education and communications are evidence-based and aligned with research and federal regulations.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the United States Military Academy at West Point, followed by five years of military service as an Army engineer officer. Megan holds a master’s degree in nutrition interventions, communication and behavior change from the Friedman School of Nutrition at Tufts University, and she completed her dietetic internship at the Cleveland Clinic.
Megan is a passionate learner for all things food, health and wellbeing and believes wellness is deeply personal and should help us feel nourished and empowered, never restricted or discouraged.
