Chad Galer, vice president of product innovation and food safety, has spent his entire life in the dairy industry. He works daily on behalf of U.S. dairy farmers at Dairy Management Inc., allowing him to share his passion for dairy. Chad was raised on a dairy farm in Wisconsin and studied microbiology at University of Wisconsin – La Crosse. He spent the next 16 years working at Kraft Food, honing and broadening his cheese knowledge. He now enjoys being an invited judge for the World Championship Cheese Contest and the United States Cheese Championship and also coordinates the National Collegiate Dairy Product Evaluation Contest.
