Getting kids to eat green foods is no easy feat. But with just a few ingredients, this healthy green smoothie requires no fuss to make and even less for kids to enjoy, making it a real treat for parents, too!
1/4 cup milk (nutrition information based on 1% milkfat)
1 seedless orange, peeled
1 cup lightly packed baby spinach
1/2 banana, peeled
2 scoops (2/3 cup) vanilla frozen low-fat yogurt
- Place milk in blender; add orange (broken into quarters if desired), spinach and banana. Blend on HIGH until smooth. Add frozen yogurt, blend until combined.
- Garnish with fresh fruit and spinach skewer, if desired.
