Easy and Healthy Green Smoothie Recipe

Getting kids to eat green foods is no easy feat. But with just a few ingredients, this easy, yet healthy, green smoothie with vanilla yogurt requires no fuss to make and even less for kids to enjoy, making it a real treat for parents too. Because it contains milk, you'll get at least 13 essential nutrients. Serve alongside a skewer of favorite fruits for some fun dipping. 


1/4 cup milk (nutrition information based on 1% milkfat)

1 seedless orange, peeled

1 cup lightly packed baby spinach

1/2 banana, peeled

2 scoops (2/3 cup) vanilla frozen low-fat yogurt


  1. Place milk in blender; add orange (broken into quarters if desired), spinach and banana. Blend on HIGH until smooth. Add frozen yogurt, blend until combined.
  2. Garnish with fresh fruit and spinach skewer, if desired.
